On May 15, 2021, 20 students from HEBUT (Finland) participated in the 2021 Happy Students: Welcome to Finland Activity held at the residence of Ambassador of Finland. During the activity, students learned about history and culture of Finland, studied the procedure of applying a Finnish residence permit, listened stories of alumnus who had studied in Finland, and had friendly talk with staff from the Embassy of Finland in China. Li Zirui, Executive Principal of Finland campus, Chan Tiechun, Deputy Party Secretary of International Education Institution, and Fan Chenchen, Student Affairs Commissioner of Finland campus were invited to attend the avidity and discussed about bulk registration of students doing identity verification at the embassy.
